Osclass provides an administrator management system that allows you to create and manage admin users with different levels of access. Admins can oversee various aspects of the platform, while moderators have restricted access for managing listings and content moderation.
Managing Administrators
Administrators can be added, edited, and removed from the backoffice.
Manage administrators
To access the administrator management section:
Navigate to Admins.
A list of existing administrators will be displayed, with options to edit or delete each entry.
Adding a New Administrator
To create a new admin account:
Click Add Admin.
Fill in the following details:
Name: Full name of the administrator.
Username: Unique login identifier.
Email: Administrator's email address.
Password: A secure password for the account.
Confirm Password: Re-enter the password for verification.
Admin Type: Choose between Administrator and Moderator.
Your Current Password: For security verification, enter your current admin password.
Click Save to create the account.

Admin Roles and Permissions
There are two types of admin users in Osclass:
Administrator: Has full control over the backoffice, including site settings, listings, users, and plugins.
Moderator: Has limited access, primarily to moderate listings, comments, and media.
Moderator Extra Access
Moderators can be granted additional access beyond the default permissions.
Admins can reset their passwords by entering a new password and confirming it. To update the password:
Go to Edit your profile.
Enter a new password and confirm it.
Enter your current password for verification.
Click Save.
Deleting an Administrator
To remove an admin:
Navigate to Admins.
Select the admin(s) using the checkboxes.
Click Delete and confirm the action.
Note: The currently logged-in administrator cannot delete their own account.
Bulk Actions
Osclass allows administrators to perform bulk actions for easier management:
Enable or Disable multiple admin accounts.
Delete multiple admins at once.
