To access the backoffice, navigate to:

  • For root installations: https://yourdomain.com/oc-admin/
  • For subdirectory installations: https://yourdomain.com/subdirectory/oc-admin/
  • For subdomains: https://sub.yourdomain.com/oc-admin/

Login Credentials

On the login page, administrators must enter their username and password to gain access.

  • Username: The administrator’s username.
  • Password: The corresponding password.
  • Remember Me: Checking this option allows the session to persist for a longer duration.

Language Selection

If multiple languages are enabled, administrators can select their preferred language from the dropdown menu before logging in.

Password Visibility

The login form includes an eye icon that allows administrators to toggle password visibility while typing.

Demo Mode

In demo mode, predefined credentials (username: demo, password: demo123) may be available for testing.

Forgot Password

If an administrator forgets their password, they can request a password reset by clicking on the Forgot your password? link on the login page.

Password Recovery Process

  1. Click on Forgot your password?
  2. Enter the registered email address or username.
  3. Submit the request to receive a password reset link via email.

A recovery email will be sent containing a link to reset the password.

Resetting the Password

After clicking the link in the email, the administrator will be redirected to a secure page to enter a new password:

  • New Password: Enter a strong new password.
  • Repeat Password: Confirm the new password.
  • Click Change Password to update credentials.

Security Measures

For security reasons:

  • The reset link expires after a certain period.
  • Passwords are stored securely and cannot be retrieved in plaintext.

Enhancing Login Security

  • Use strong passwords with a mix of characters.
  • Limit login attempts to prevent brute-force attacks.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (if supported).

By following these steps, administrators can securely manage their Osclass website.
