Managing Listings

The Listings (or Items) section in Osclass allows administrators to manage published ads, reported listings, and configure item-related settings.

Managing Active Listings

The main listings page provides a table with all posted ads. Administrators can:

  • Filter by status (active, pending, expired, spam, etc.).
  • Edit, delete, or activate/deactivate listings.
  • Use bulk actions to manage multiple listings at once.

Bulk Actions

Administrators can perform actions on multiple listings at once using the bulk actions feature:

  • Enable All: Approve and publish all selected listings.
  • Disable All: Mark listings as inactive.
  • Activate All: Change status of listings to active.
  • Deactivate All: Set listings to inactive.
  • Mark as Premium: Upgrade selected listings to premium status.
  • Remove Premium Status: Downgrade premium listings.
  • Mark as Spam: Flag listings as spam.
  • Remove Spam Flag: Restore spam-marked listings.
  • Delete All: Permanently remove selected listings.

Reported Listings

Users can report listings for various reasons such as:

  • Spam
  • Misclassified
  • Duplicate content
  • Expired
  • Offensive material

Bulk actions:

  • Delete: Remove listing
  • Clear All: Remove all marks
  • Clear All Reported Spam: Remove spam-tagged marks.
  • Clear All Bad Listings: Delete marks reported as inappropriate.
  • Clear All Expired Listings: Remove marks past their expiration date.
  • Clear All Offensive Listings: Delete marks marked as offensive.

Administrators can review reports, dismiss false claims, or take action on reported listings.

Managing Media

Osclass allows administrators to control listing images and other media:

  • Limit the number of images per listing.
  • Enable or disable automatic image resizing.
  • Allow or restrict specific file types for upload.

Posting Restrictions

  • Only Logged-in Users Can Post: Restrict ad posting to registered users.
  • Time Interval Between Listings: Users must wait a defined number of seconds before posting another listing.
  • Require Listing Validation: Users must validate their listings before they go live.
  • Allow Users to Disable Their Listings: Enables manual deactivation by users.

Listing Moderation

  • Require Admin Approval: New listings remain pending until approved.
  • Moderate Only Certain Listings: Configure moderation rules based on user roles.

Renewals & Expiration

  • Users Can Renew Listings: Expired ads can be republished.
  • Maximum Renewals: Define how many times an item can be renewed.
  • Set Expiration Period: Listings can expire after a set number of days.

Contact & Notifications

  • Disable Contact Publisher Form: Removes direct contact options.
  • Restrict Contact Information: Allow only registered users to see phone numbers.
  • Notify Admin on New Listings: Sends alerts for new submissions.
  • Expiration Warnings: Notify users before their ads expire.

Redirection & Display Settings

  • Redirect After Publishing: Choose whether users go to their dashboard, listing, or category page after submitting an ad.
  • Title & Description Limits: Set max character limits for listing titles and descriptions.

Optional Fields & Statistics

  • Enable Price Field: Show or hide the price input for listings.
  • Limit Uploaded Images: Set a max number of images per listing.
  • One View per Session: Restrict page views per session to avoid manipulation.
