Currencies

Osclass allows administrators to manage the currencies used for listings on their platform. This includes adding new currencies, editing existing ones, and deleting currencies that are no longer needed. Proper currency management ensures that listings are accurately priced and displayed in the appropriate currency format.

All available currencies are listed in the Settings > Currencies section of the Osclass backoffice.

Administrators can view and modify the list of currencies used across the platform.

Adding a New Currency

To add a new currency manually:

  • Go to Settings > Currencies.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Fill in the required fields:
    • Currency Code: A three-letter code based on the ISO 4217 standard (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP).
    • Currency Symbol: The symbol representing the currency (e.g., $, €, ¥).
    • Name: The full name of the currency (e.g., United States Dollar, Euro, British Pound).
  • Click Save.

Editing an Existing Currency

To modify an existing currency:

  • Go to Settings > Currencies.
  • Find the currency you want to edit and click Edit.
  • Update the currency details as needed.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Deleting a Currency

To remove a currency:

  • Go to Settings > Currencies.
  • Find the currency in the list.
  • Click Delete.
  • Confirm the deletion.

Note: Deleting a currency may affect existing listings that use that currency. Ensure no active listings are using the currency before removing it.

  • Select multiple currencies using checkboxes.
